19 February 2021

Yesterday, February 18, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin visited Moglino Special Economic Zone as part of a working trip to the Pskov region.
On the territory of the SEZ the Prime Minister got acquainted with the construction progress of the Titan-Polymer plant, inspected the adjacent territory, and assessed the technical preparedness of the administrative housing, production building and engineering infrastructure. After this Mikhail Mishustin visited the Nor-Maali plant, which is producing paint and varnish production; got acquainted with the production process and visited the laboratory where the finished product is tested.
At the end of the visit, the Prime Minister met with the residents of Moglino SEZ. The issues of supporting regional entrepreneurship were discussed on this meeting. The conversation was attended by the Governor of the Pskov region Mikhail Vedernikov, the heads of several ministries and federal agencies, residents and potential investors of the SEZ.
Mikhail Mishustin noted that the industrial cluster on the territory of Moglino continues its active development. “It is very well located: on the one hand, the border with the European Union, on the other, the entire EAEU. Products can be delivered through the territory of the Russian Federation, both for export and for coming to you. Without a doubt, the business that operates here can focus on two large markets at the same time: as I said, the European Union market and the Eurasian market."
The meeting participants discussed the increasing of additional capitalization volume for the Industrial Development Fund of the Pskov Region, compensation for investors’ expenditures on technological connection to engineering networks, as well as support for investors from the federal budget to create engineering infrastructure of technoparks. As a result of the discussion, Mikhail Mishustin gave several instructions to the federal ministries for the elaboration of the issues. During the meeting, Mikhail Vedernikov assured that he would control personally the issue of filing an application for the Unified Regional Subsidy within the framework of reimbursing investors for technological connection.
