Governor of the Pskov Region

The Moglino Special Economic Zone is a key for industrial growth of the Pskov Region and a driver of economic development of the region.

I am convinced that, thanks to the existing competitive advantages, Moglino SEZ has everything it needs to grow successfully and promote a favorable investment climate in the region.

Currently, we have over 3.5 billion rubles invested in projects of existing and future production facilities; 88 jobs have been created; manufacturing clusters are gaining strength.

The Moglino-2 new development covering more than 82 hectares has been started, with utility infrastructure and a road network being installed and laid out.

The Administration of the Pskov Region continues to supervise the SEZ project and shore up the development of the industrial park, acting as a guarantor of stability for major financial institutions that support projects in Moglino.

In 2019, with the assistance of the Regional Administration, negotiations were held with Russian Railways JSC regarding the construction of a transportation and logistics hub. In 2020, we continue our efforts in providing tenants with railway infrastructure, in accordance with the long-term plan for the SEZ development.

The industrial site and resource capacities of Moglino SEZ make it possible to deploy high-tech industries, create skilled jobs and ensure further growth of the Regional Gross Product and the standard of living in our constituent entity of the Federation.

Deputy Governor of the Pskov Region

The key advantage of the Pskov Region is undoubtedly its geographical position, its proximity to three countries: Estonia, Latvia and Belarus, which entailed the development of a large-scale transportation network in the region, including highways, railroads and air routes. This transport and logistics advantage reinforced by tax and customs incentives provided by the special economic zone makes the Pskov Region extremely attractive to both foreign and home business.

In addition, favorable rates for energy resources as well as the affordable rental and buyout prices are weighty arguments for starting manufacturing operations in Moglino SEZ.

The Administration of the Pskov Region has its finger on the pulse of each investment project, while the Moglino SEZ management company provides support to tenants throughout all stages: from their first steps in the region to rolling out manufacturing projects.

We have already taken a number of measures to expand the site and create a universal SEZ profile: the plan for development of Moglino SEZ has been prepared; steps have been taken towards developing railway infrastructure.

Acting General Director of Moglino SEZ

Moglino special economic zone  is now a fully prepared infrastructure site for the location of production facilities. The proximity of the Moglino to the borders of the European Union and, in general, its geographic position, determined its attractiveness for export-oriented enterprises, for foreign companies planning to enter the Russian market and for any enterprises interested in development.

Today Moglino SEZ is going through the most interesting stage of the project development - we receive inquiries from all over the world, from enterprises operating in the most technologically advanced manufacturing industries and every day we learn something new. This cannot but inspire!

Over the years, we have perfected the processes of interaction with the investor, developed an extensive practice of working with business and government agencies, studied investors in detail and we know that for many of them attentive attitude, assistance in setting up work in the regional market is no less important than customs preferences and tax benefits provided by our special economic zone.

We are ready and happy to provide a full range of services for the investor: from support of the initial project in government agencies to technical and marketing support of already operating enterprises.

My team and I are glad to every investor and make every effort to bring the most daring industrial projects to life!
