Yesterday, 15 June, Moglino SEZ Supervisory board reviewed and approved a project for production of an environmentally friendly mode of transport for modern metropolises.

Supervisory Board meeting was chaired by the Governor of the Pskov Region Mikhail Vedernikov via videoconference.

The investment project to construct a production of modern trolleybuses and electric buses pursues several main goals:

- production of environmentally friendly forms of urban transport;

- implementation of the import substitution policy through the production of high-tech, competitive domestic products;

- creation of new jobs.

The investor is planning to construct the production plant in several stages within 5 years. The first production line will be launched at the end of the first year from the start of construction.

Production plant of 30 000 square meters will employ from 150 to 500 employers.

The total investment under the project is stated at about 560 million rubles. The company plans to reach a production volume of up to 1000 transport units per year.
